The goal of this project is to intuitively integrate an undo/redo button in the Apple Notes app. Research showed that users don't find the current shake to undo as intuitive.

The bottom navigation bar is a decent position to input the undo icon because it will be easy to reach and remember. However, the bottom nav bar already has five icons.
To create space for an undo icon I integrated a kebab menu icon to hold the delete note and add new note icons.

Long-press a word in the notes app and another navigation menu opens. A undo option would seamlessly fit in here. However, this menu is not very quick to reach.

swiping in an empty screen space to any direction should redo/undo. 

With this case study i have shown an intuitive approach to problem solving. Here I have studied a user pain-point and figured out different solutions that would be easy for the users to learn and use.
